Tenders Information
1. Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the World Bank for Bangladesh Road Safety Project (BRSP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the above mentioned non-consulting service.
2. The Roads and Highways Department now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for BRSP Fleet Management- Non-consultancy service.
3. Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers – November 2020 and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. 5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of BDT 5000 or USD 50. The method of payment will be cash. The document will be given in hand. Last date of selling of bidding document is March 11, 2025 up to office hour.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address above on or before March 12, 2025 at PM. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked “ORIGINAL BID”, and the inner envelopes marked “TECHNICAL PART” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address above on March 12, 2025 at 12:05 PM. All envelopes marked “FINANCIAL PART” shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Employer until the second public Bid opening.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of BDT 20,000,000.00 (Taka Two Crore only) or USD 200,000.00 (USD Two hundred thousand only).
8. A pre-bid meeting will be held on February 18, 2025 at 11 AM at the address in letterhead.
9. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
10. The procuring entity reserves the right to accept or reject all bids.
